Containing 36 beautifully coloured Post Cards, Reproduced from Original photographs of the Beauty spots and principal objects of interest in LANCASHIRE (including Manchester, Salford, Alwick, etc. etc.) n.d. (circa 1900). First edition. Light brown paper wraps with chromolithograph pastedown illustration of Manchester Cathedral. 10.5 x 11 inches, 6 leaves with 6 postcards per leaf, perforated for removal, with divided backs. Each photographed scene is overprinted in beautiful Bavarian chromolithography. Wraps are fragile and separating at spine edge, with several small edge chips/rough spots. Postcards are all present and in very good condition, save that those in the outer corners have slightly rounded corners, a couple of others at spine edge have slightly nicked or creased corners.
